    Check out our accepted VR-based game design for the Student Game Design Competition Track CHI PLAY 2024! Virtual reality technologies allow new ways of creating a sense of space not only through sight but also through sound. We present SoundTrek, a game about using listening perspective for navigating through environments in VR. In SoundTrek, the player needs to switch between listening to spatialized sounds from the first- and third-person perspectives to navigate through obstacles. SoundTrek also employs sound design strategies, such as spatialized soundtracks and near-field audio to aid spatial navigation in the absence of visual cues and to create unique aesthetic experiences through sound.     Some days you just gotta model an iceberg. These bergs and berms are some of the most valuable kit pieces I have for Antarctica 2047. When I'm having an off day, I'll put some music on and make an iceberg. Environment artists will appreciate how useful these chunks are. If you make 5-7 of them, you can insert them in your terrains, or insert them in water ...you can even rotate them and they become entirely new. Each one is about 5K polys with a 4k texture. Fun fact, the blue underneath is emissive. This is my memory playing WoW 20 years ago (20 years...wow).This mod was 10 years in the making bringing World of Warcraft to full 6DOF VR with Motion Controls.
