The 2024 All-Southeast District baseball teams have been selected by coaches of the district, with 19 baseball players, along with one coach, honored this spring.
Leading the way for Highland County was one Coach of the Year in Fairfield head coach Kyle Zimmerman (Div. IV West), while six players received first-team All-District honors. Lynchburg-Clay’s Cole Wells was named to the first team in Division III. The remaining four players were all from Div. IV: Fairfield’s Gabe Fouch, Cade Miller and Zane Matthews, and Whiteoak’s Eli Roberts and Zander Roades.
Two Highland County players earned second-team honors in Div. II, with Hillsboro’s Walker Pence and McClain’s Kaden Penwell recognized. Lynchburg-Clay’s Braedon West was named to the Div. III second team. Rounding out the second-team honorees were three from Div. IV in Whiteoak’s Izayah Clift and Kaden Moon-Stone, as well as Fairfield’s Cody Frost.
One Highland County player was named honorable mention, that being Corbin Willey of Fairfield (Div. IV).
McClain and Hillsboro combined for four Div. II special mention selections, with a trio of Tigers — Jayden Allison, Andrew Potts and Seth Weller — as well as Hillsboro’s Ashton Clemons honored. Division IV featured two special mention players in Whiteoak’s Dakota Clift and Fairfield’s Wyatt Willey.
