Close to downtown
Super 8 is a budget hotel, located off Highway One, and is yet easily accessible for the guests. It is just a short walk from downtown. Guests said that the hotel was located ideally as there were shops, restaurants and bars close by. Additionally, the most sought after places of interest in Monterey were also nearby.

Rooms at the hotel have simple yet fresh décor. They have been maintained nicely and kept clean with daily housekeeping. Plus, the rooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities required for a relaxed stay.

Staff at the hotel was friendly and was always available for guest’s assistance. They were alert, attentive and extended a warm welcome to everyone. Guests said that the staff came over immediately, even at odd hours, in case their help was needed. They even assisted the guests with their travel plans and means of transport locally.

Many guests said that the bathrooms had leakage problems, making the floor wet constantly. Showers in many bathrooms were also broken and there were problems with hot water as well.
